Betaille, is close to the towns of, Martel, Vayrac, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Souillac (N 20 motorway exit) and St Cere. Betaille has its own baker, hairdresser, local food store, post office and two lovely restaurants/bars.

Within less than five minutes from the Dordogne river and the ancient town of Carrennac, it is a peaceful spot, yet within about a half an hour's drive to the major town of Brive, a thriving and quaint town situated on the river Vezere and boasting one of France's premier rugby clubs.

Brive has two major shopping centres, including the hypermarkets of Carrefour, Leclerc, and Geant.

GETTING THERE:

By Air:
An hour and a half from Limoges Airport, and about and hour and three quarters from Rodez, Toulouse and Bergerac Airports. When the new airport between Brive and Souillac is complete the house will be less than three quarters of an hour from the new airport.

By Train:
Betaille has its own train station.

By Road:
About half an hour from the A20 motorway exit 55.
